Typical Accountabilities, Experience & Behaviours

  • Develop a closed-loop management method and establish standard operating procedures to continuously optimize the DOC operating mechanism, enhancing risk management.
  • Establish and continually optimize sampling Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), sampling methodologies, review procedures, and checkpoints to effectively monitor, review, and manage risks.
  • Organize cross-functional communication to discuss risks, findings, remediation strategies, and disciplines, driving the resolution and closure of open projects with findings or remediations.
  • Identify gaps or improvement opportunities in policies, processes, or procedures to drive continuous improvements in efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, and strength overall corporate risk control.
  • Identify gaps or opportunities for improvement to enhance deliverable quality & compliance control for user
  • Identify gaps or improvement opportunities for the enhancement of vendor service levels & risk control
  • Summarize and report risk area, findings, mitigation proposal and emerging trends to leadership.
  • Lead the DOC team in reviewing supporting documents, identifying findings, analyzing root causes, and developing remediation plans for both commercial and R&D sectors.

Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience

Education:

  • University degree required (Business, Finance).

Experience:

  • Solid working experience in finance (e.g. internal control, etc.) and/or compliance area, rich business experience as preferred and experience with Big Four firm will be a plus.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and risk management practices.
  • Over 10 years of experience in project management, strategy development and implementation, and process optimization.
  • Strong understanding of business insights and dynamics.
  • Proven experience in driving and implementing changes.
  • Team management
